In the episode of Boruto : Naruto Next Generations Episode 211 with the title The Chase, there is another development of events with a suspicious man wandering around the village.

Knowing that Kashin Koji hasn't left the village since Jigen's confrontation, there's a good chance it's him.
On top of that, several events signaled things were getting busy at Kara's hideout as well.
It's likely that Jingen intends to spring into action as soon as he fully recovers, so we'll also see that in the next few episodes.
Shikadai and his team try to track down an intruder in the village.
Kashin Koji is still in Konoha, but his traces are starting to be known and Kashin Koji is in a hurry to carry out his own mission.
He is looking for data about ninja who is not explained by who, but from his confrontation with Kakashi it is known that the data he is looking for is from before the Fourth Ninja World War whose data is still in scrolls, not digital yet.
Koji searches for data on old era ninjas that Shikadai thinks should have retired, some of them are dead. So they wondered why the mysterious man was trying to steal the data.
This is likely Kashin Koji looking for data and information about Jiraiya, which is the original source of himself.
Team 10 or Moegi's team happened to be at the location when Kakashi was pursuing a mysterious person in Konoha.
Finally Kakashi asked for their help and they found an interesting fact that the mysterious man was looking for ninja data.
Kakashi also managed to make a plan and predict the purpose of the mysterious man until he finally met Kashin Koji.
Kashin Koji certainly didn't want to show his face and didn't explain what his purpose was to Kakashi who was interrogating him.
Kakashi also attacked Koji because it was clear he was an intruder who could harm Konoha, but Koji didn't fight any further, he just ran away from this fight, even using the frog technique too.
Because of this incident Kakashi is increasingly wondering about who this mysterious figure is. This is interesting, will we see Kakashi more involved in the anime considering that he doesn't appear in the manga? What do you think?
