As one of the main members of 'Kara', Amado manages their own engineering research & development division.However, Amado had taken Shikadai as a hostage and had come to Konohagakure Village in search of asylum (protection).
As a guarantee of becoming a refugee, Amado agrees to provide some of the information he knows about Kara.Because Amado was an untrustworthy enemy, and because Shikadai's life was at stake, the Hokage personally negotiated and reached an agreement with him.
Meanwhile, at Kara's hideout, Kashin Koji and Jigen confront each other.
The two of them contemplated various things and tried to figure out each other.

The Boruto anime episode 212 open with a scene where Koji who turned out to be deliberately making a scene in the previous episode in Konoha Village to open a path for Amado to enter it.After opening the path, Koji returned to Kara to tell Amado that the path to Konoha Village was open.

After that, Amado was preparing to enter Konoha Village.However, before leaving, suddenly Delta appeared and immediately caught Amado who secretly wanted to go to Konoha Village without Jigen's knowledge.
Delta then threatens them and invites them to fight.Koji who heard this, immediately prepared to issue his stance, but Delta was attacked quickly by Amado who ended up fainting.Without thinking, Amado immediately went to Konoha Village.
Previously, when Koji opened a path for Amado, he immediately left to carry out his mission.It turns out that Koji's mission is to fight with Jigen.
Entering by infiltrating, Amado actually met with Shikadai and Inoji who were looking for Koji. He also captured Shikadai and held him hostage as a form of negotiation.
It turned out that Amado deliberately made negotiations so that he could talk to Naruto. Hearing Shikadai being a hostage, Naruto then listened to the negotiations given by Amado.
Amado says he will defect from Kara and tells about Jigen. He didn't even ask for anything in return.Naruto and Sikamaru were confused because Amado's destination was not known for certain.But Naruto then gave Amado an opportunity to reveal all the information he knew about Kara.
On the other hand, the audience will be shown the scene of Koji meeting Jigen.
At the end of the episode, Koji meets Jigen who is resting. Jigen also asked the purpose of Koji's arrival. However, Koji seemed to be preparing something.
