It’s the first look we’ve had at characters like Doctor Fate from Black Adam and of course a voice-over from Michael Keaton in The Flash. The look might be short, but this is a great one to hype people through the roof for these four films. The Batman stars Robert Pattinson and releases on March 4th, 2022. Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson and releases on July 29th, 2022. The Flash stars Ezra Miller and Michael Keaton, it releases in theaters on November 4th, 2022. Finally, Aquaman & the Lost Kingdom stars Jason Momoa and releases in theaters on December 16th, 2022.

However, that’s just the tip of a massively exciting iceberg, and it’s almost fitting that the first comic book blockbuster out of the gate isn’t even connected to the mainline DCEU at all. Things really heat up at the end of July when Dwayne Johnson debuts as Black Adam, which is shaping up to be a cosmic showdown of epic proportions.
Next up is The Flash in November, which features both Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as Batman, lending support to Ezra Miller’s Scarlet Speedster. Rounding things off is Jason Momoa’s return as Arthur Curry in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which comes burdened with huge pressure as the sequel to the highest-grossing DC feature ever made.
Luckily, we’ve got this brand new 60-second promo to tide us over in the meantime, which offers the first looks at footage from the Aquaman sequel and Black Adam, as well as some new snippets from The Batman and The Flash.
We’ve seen a good amount of this footage from The Batman before. And yes, we’re obviously super stoked about it. But what has me the most excited in this minute-long tease are the shots of the Justice Society members we see in the Black Adam footage. Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman spreads his wings; Pierce Brosnan’s Dr. Fate looking suitably regal; Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher bigger than buildings; and Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone looking like an absolute boss. Black Adam, from director Jaume Collet-Serra, will hit theaters July 29.

The promo has significantly fewer new cool shots from The Flash, but we do get to see Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) seemingly in different parts of his history. We also hear Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne (conveniently not pictured) ask why Barry would want to save this world if he could go to any parallel one he wanted. A valid question, surely. Andy Muschietti’s movie will come out November 4, so there’s plenty of time to see more.
Finally, we get a few shots from James Wan’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which mainly consist of Jason Momoa standing in CGI water. Still, it’ll be cool to return to that vibrant and truly buck wild undersea world. That movie has a scheduled release date of December 16.
