After its premiere in January 2022, All of Us Are Dead shot straight into the top 10 most watched non-English TV series in 91 countries and remained there for two consecutive weeks.
Since then, many viewers have been clamouring for the show to be reanimated, with a RadioTimes.com poll resulting in 83 per cent demanding the show return for a season two.
And now fans have got their wish: All of Us Are Dead has been renewed for a second season.
Netflix has released a brand new teaser trailer to prove it, confirming the return of the four main cast members of the Korean zombie-apocalypse coming-of-age drama.
"Thank you to the Netflix fans worldwide for giving so much love to All of Us Are Dead Season 1," star Yoon Chan-young – who plays Lee Cheong-san – said in the teaser.
Cheon-san was bitten in the season 1 finale and presumed dead, making his appearance in the teaser trailer a huge surprise.
"The students of Hyosan High School may have survived their first zombie outbreak, but the nightmare is far from over," the official season 2 Netflix description reads.

All of Us Are Dead season 2 release date speculation
While Netflix has announced that All of Us Are Dead will return for season 2, the good news ends there and we don't have an official release date yet.
The series is expected to land sometime in 2023, but that's just speculation at this point.
Which cast members could return for All of Us Are Dead season 2?
Netflix's brand new All of Us Are Dead trailer confirms the return of the four main cast members of the show: Yoon Chan-young, who plays Lee Cheong-san; Park Ji-hu, who plays Nam On-jo; Cho Yi-hyun, who plays class president Choi Nam-ra; and Lomon as Lee Su-hyeok.
Cheon-san was presumed dead in season 1, making his appearance in the teaser trailer a huge surprise.
We'd also expect to see more from high schoolers Su-hyeok (Park Solomon), Dae-su (Im Jae-hyuk), Ha-ri (Ha Seung-ri), Mi-jin (Lee Eun-saem) and Hyo-ryung (Kim Bo-yoon) in All of Us Are Dead season 2.
Speaking to NCB News, Cho Yi-hyun, who plays Nam-ra, attributed the first series' success to its relatable characters.
“Students are not children but not yet adults either. I’m like that. I’m neither human nor a monster," she explained.
“Everyone faces an identity crisis at one point in their life. As a teenager, I also felt like an adult but not yet an adult. I went through stages like that. In those aspects, I related to Nam-ra,” she said.
What could All of Us Are Dead season 2 be about?
As previously mentioned, All of Us Are Dead is based on a South Korean digital comic of the same name, with this initial batch of 12 episodes adapting the source material in full.
A second season renewal means that even die-hard fans will be in uncharted territory, with the show's writers having to craft an original direction to take the remaining characters.
"The students of Hyosan High School may have survived their first zombie outbreak, but the nightmare is far from over," the official season 2 Netflix description reads.
