Netflix releases the red band trailer of the love death & robots season 2 anthology sci-fi animated series from DAVID FINCHER  and  TIM MILLER. Regardless of your opinion about its quality,  you  can't call the tittle false advertising, as seen in the new red band trailer of  season 2 trailer.

ARMY OF DEAD MOVIE TRAILER

Those who don't know about the red band trailer :  Red-band trailers are basically R-rated movie trailers. They're designed for mature audiences, and they contain more sex, violence, swear words, and emotionally charged scenes than the "green band" versions that are approved for all audiences. ... Red-band trailers are created for the web, not the theater.

LOVE DEATH & ROBOTS SEASON 2

The NSFW footage for “Love Death + Robots” Season 2 does highlight each word in the title, showing the naughty bits of sex, violence, and well, robots that populate the sci-fi anthology series. Love, Death + Robots is an adult animated science fiction anthology series based loosely on the 1981 cult classic film Heavy Metal, also an animated anthology of various sci-fi stories. Netflix released the first volume of Love, Death + Robots in March of 2019. The episodes varied in length, ranging from 6 to 17 minutes.  Much like the 1st  season, the new 8-episode batch of animated shorts utilize new styles of animation to tell their stories., but each very much falls under the three main umbrellas of love, death, and robots, with some combining all three.

The show’s blend of sci-fi, horror, and cyberpunk elements was received fairly well amongst critics and audiences, and was renewed for a second season soon after in June of the same year. Season 1’s voice cast included Gary Cole, Chris Parnell, Omid Abtahi, and John DiMaggio, while Topher Grace and Mary Elizabeth Winstead appeared in live-action roles as opposed to animated. Given the nature of an anthology series, it is unlikely any of these actors will return for season 2. Netflix dropped a trailer for the series’ second volume last month, but the show’s adult content lent itself perfectly to a red band trailer, and Netflix delivered.

LOVE DEATH & ROBOTS SEASON 2

Now, season 2 of Netflix’s animated anthology Love, Death + Robots has its own red band trailer. While the original trailer for volume 2 was obviously tamed down for general consumption, the red band trailer features plenty of the animated violence (and swearing) that season 1 became known for. Although the red band is noticeably shorter at 58 seconds, it certainly does not pull any punches. Watch the Love, Death + Robots red band below:
